    Bridgfords Estate Agent

    Although they were quite active during the selling process, activity seemed to disappear after Sold STC status had been achieved. Indeed, the estate agent of the house I purchased was significantly more proactive - with regular contact... & were better at their performance than my own solicitors ! Also, the fees charged by this estate agent were quite pricey considering what was given in return.

    Improve communication

    Kept the sale process on track despite a number of problems that needed to be ironed out. However they were slow to respond to voicemail messages left when they were out of the office. They were all pleasant helpful and keen to keep all sides moving forward. In the latter stages of the sale things happen quickly but there seemed at times to be poor communication between the countrywide solicitor and estate agent. I was not really kept informed as to when the completion date would happen and what l needed to do. But we got there in the end.

    Bridgford's provided a service second to none, very fast friendly and efficient and at times new more about what was happening than my actual solicitors... They saved me from pulling my hair out!

    Avoid like the plague.

    Awful service. Emails and calls go unanswered, staff don’t tell the truth. It took me a month to get quotes for repairs to my property and 4 months to relet it after my tenant moved out. I am still waiting for a response to 3 emails asking what has happened to the portion of the deposit that was retained as I was told 3 weeks ago that it had been transferred to my account, however it hasn’t.

    My service feedback with Sales

    Chad and Alex were very helpful in the last month when it seemed as though it wasn't going to happen but initially it felt as though once we signed up Brad did not market it fully. He valued it over £15000 more than we actually got and then kept telling us that it was on too high!! It was as though he valued it too high on purpose to encourage us to sign up. We were all set up for an open house day of half a dozen viewings then there was actually 1!! Very disappointing. Between March and July when we sold it we only had 7 viewings and the lady who bought it knew about it because her uncle lives down the road! We were led to believe by the branch that she was all ready to go and wanted a quick completion then it took almost 4 months. And if I were you I would not be recommending Countrywide solicitors as they are totally useless. I would be embarrassed to admit I had suggested them. They cost us a fortune because of their rubbish service and we are still considering putting in a formal complaint! Even our solicitor said it was disgusting.

    Poor pay,

    Poor payments are taken without my approval The service is not good. Various payments are taken from the rent which have not been agreed by myself
